We are seeking an extraordinary Operations Program Manager (OPM) to support Apple’s Global Recycling Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for sustaining recycling operations support of corporate and supplier sites to enable best in class efficiency and materials recovery. This role requires a strong blend of operations knowledge and an eye for business.
Key Qualifications
• Excellent record of delivering results on time in a manufacturing/industrial setting, with the ability to work cross functionally with engineering, maintenance, EHS, and customers to solve problems and create value.
• Experienced and skilled in prioritizing environmental, safety and quality standards, with the ability to meet production goals without compromising any of the former.
• Exceptional ability using Lean methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement across an operation. Data-driven and willing to take action. Skilled in optimizing factory layouts, footprint optimization, and time motion studies.
• Possesses deep experience participating in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives, including ISO 45001, 9001, 14001 and R2 / E-stewards certification
• Amazing collaboration skills, with the ability to pair subject matter expertise with a desire to support/champion the contributions of others. Enthusiastic and detailed while managing several work-streams.
• You possess excellent presentation skills (Keynote).
• You are a great teammate with a “hands-on” and “can-do” attitude.
Description
The Recycling Operations Program Manager (OPM) will partner with a highly cross functional stakeholder group to create a best-in-class recycling and reuse operation. You’ll join a team of recycling enthusiasts driving innovative end-of-use processes that will set the bar for recovery in the industry, all while reducing our environmental impact and improving cost efficiency.

This role is uniquely suited for someone who possess operations, EHS and Lean expertise. Your enthusiasm for working in and on the business make you qualified to drive both strategic and tactical execution. Above all, your ability to create clarity out of ambiguity—leading ultimately to value added solutions—is what makes you the perfect fit for this role and team. Occasional travel when safe to do so is required (<10%).
Education & Experience
BS or MS degree in an industrial, business, or environmental related discipline, with 5+ years of operations experience in a recycling or manufacturing environment.
