Global Credit Markets Americas (GCM) bridges Global Markets and Global Banking. GCM integrates all primary origination, financing & syndication and secondary sales, trading & research activities across all CIB credit products into one platform. GCM provides debt origination, structuring & execution to our Americas clients via 3 core business lines: Asset Finance, High Grade Finance and Leveraged Finance. GCM maintains a client-centric approach by working closely with Coverage, Global Markets and Advisory as well as supporting BOW commercial clients on specific product needs. GCM will drive synergies between Global Banking and Global Markets from origination to distribution making BNP a more effective solutions provider to our clients.

Responsibilities:
High Grade Financeโs Loan Capital Markets (LCM) is primarily tasked with originating and executing acquisition finance transactions for BNP Paribasโ investment grade corporate banking clients. LCM also provides capital structure solutions to our clients; with Senior Originators specializing in certain industry sectors. LCM is seeking a team player with excellent communication and analytical skills for the Analyst position. Candidate must have a strong work ethic. The Analyst is primarily responsible for financial modeling and credit analysis to support transaction origination and execution activities. Analysts also get opportunities to provide other support for the outbound marketing activity of the Senior LCM Originators across the Americas. In this role, the Analyst must have a demonstrated ability to: support senior team members with the deal team process. Specific responsibilities include projections modelling, financial analysis, analyzing loan market data, preparing marketing materials, executing transactions and developing relationships with various internal and external constituencies at appropriate levels. This is a great opportunity to gain transaction and credit experience and exposure to all parts of the deal process for the syndicated bank loan capital markets, including acquisition financing and event-driven transactions, in the investment grade space.
Minimum Required Qualifications
1-2 years of previous work experience at a financial institution Bachelor’s Degree Good knowledge of accounting and finance Ability to think critically and solve problems Strong written and verbal communication skills Technical skills โ strong Excel and mathematical proficiency

The expected starting salary range for this position in New York at the Analyst level is between $100,000 to $110,000. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
