JOB TITLE HERE

The Role

This position is for an important role within a high performance team which is integral to the processor design engineering department that delivers highly sophisticated processors to the market. This team focus on fuse architecture and production fusing support, pins and package definition, processor security architecture as well as errata definition, documentation and communication. The role involves close interaction with SOC architecture, platform architecture, product and test engineering teams in a technically challenging and stimulating environment. The role will provides limitless opportunities to work with and learn various soft and hard skills from other highly skilled colleagues and develop a strong and long lasting career.

The Person

The candidate should be highly motivated and is able to solve engineering problems through strong oriented thinking and continuous process improvement. The candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and is a strong team player who can work with different functional teams at different geographical locations across the globe. Excellent schedule management skill is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fuse architecture and fusing process control: Work with design architecture and IP teams to comprehend, compile, document and implement product configurations and requirements for processor bring up and production. The responsibilities also include database and software tools development and maintenance.
  • Processor pins definition: work with SOC architecture, platform architecture and package design teams to understand, compile and document processor socket, package and pin definitions.

Preferred Experience

  • The ideal candidate is required to have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in product development engineering, test engineering, platform validation and engineering, or other hardware engineering related experience.
  • The candidate should be familiar with CPUs, graphics processors, and their IO interfaces and should have some basic understandings of industrial standard specs (i.e. PCIe, HT, DDR, USB, HDMI, Display Port etc).
  • Basic knowledge and skill in Adobe FrameMaker, Java scripts, PHP and MySQL is preferred.

Academic Credentials

  • Bachelor degree in science or electronic engineering preferred.
