Job Summary


Amazon is looking for a sharp and organized Executive Assistant to support the VP of Global Customer Fulfillment Finance. In this role, the EA will work with GCF Finance and a team of Executive Assistants to provide seamless support for the GCF organization. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals in the company is important, as is a good sense of humor.

Other Key Responsibilities Include

Responsibilities for this position include the ability to play a leadership role with the broader EA team, to think and plan ahead, and manage time effectively.

  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations
  • Manage domestic and international travel
  • Manage expense report coordination and submission
  • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
  • Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
  • Work with other assistants throughout the larger org, department and across the rest of the company
  • Have fun at work and help others do the same

Location will be in Bellevue, WA

Basic Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent diploma
  • 8+ years of experience providing support to senior leadership or 5+ years Amazon experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally, and manage multiple inputs from different teams into a single deliverable
  • Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination
  • Experience providing executive support assistance at senior management levels
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Able to handle administrative details independently, while keeping stakeholders appropriately informed or engaged
  • Ability to apply sound business judgment
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the company
  • Calm under pressure, and the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve processes
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
