We are looking for an Information Management Leader to join Airbus in Filton. You will join the DOTP Production Planning department .

You will join the DO organization i.e. the Information Management teams for Operation. Our mission is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support their digital transformation and efficient operations to secure Aircraft Delivery.

We are looking for an Information Management Leader – Industrial Planning in order to drive IT solutions for the Operation department, focusing on Production planning.

The main responsibility is to understand the business needs, strategic objectives and propose the corresponding IT solution (Via SAP standard) in line with Enterprise Architecture, IM strategy and objectives.

Tasks & Accountabilities

  • Disciplinary and functional leadership, especially guiding, motivating and developing team members; implementation of a high performance culture in the sphere of impact
  • Analyzing and understanding business processes and their new challenges ( decoupling point, bottleneck, MRP, MPS, SOP,…)
  • Planning, agreement, monitoring and reporting of required resources to accomplish the delegated work (e.g. budget(s), services, equipment) ; adequate design and further development of work processes
  • Being well aware of traditional and new technologies (EPPDS, IBP, SAPUI5) as well as major backbone software such as SAP.
  • Risk management activities, especially the regular and exhaustive identification, evaluation, mitigation and reporting of risks

This job will involve some business trips (mainly Europe / Germany).

As such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Skills & Experience

  • Educated to Master level (or equivalent) in Methods & Tools in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Proven Ability in Information Management (IM) project management ( SAP)
  • Experience outside of Airbus perimeter especially around manufacturing processes
  • Risk based approach, creative and Innovative thinking
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesizing complex information and present them to stakeholders management
  • Team Player , collaborative & agile mind-set
  • Knowledge in standard SAP Production modules along with integration with other SAP modules
  • Methodology ( Safe & Kanban)
  • It would be advantageous if you speak French, but not essential
