We are working in partnership with a premium beauty brand on a search for a Finance Analyst with Sales and Marketing experience that sits within their FPA team of a collaborative and autonomy driven environment.

Founded in 2017, this innovative brand is making its mark on the beauty industry through the creation, development and acquisition of skincare and fragrance brands. After 5 years of trading, they have four premium international brands in their portfolio and are looking forward to expanding this.

This role offers significant exposure and will add great value in supporting the FP&A Manager to build a brand-new function as the company embarks on its next chapter. You’ll be business partnering closely with Sales & Marketing teams to analyse and boost performance whilst owning the budgeting process.

Key Responsibilities

  1. a) Responsible for the weekly sales reporting;
  2. b) Participate in building the budget and trends for wholesales, retailers, and independent perfumeries;
  3. c) Perform customer profitability analysis until the Contribution Margin
  4. d) Analyze monthly variance and ensure that the business can make quick and accurate decisions both
  5. on an operational and strategic level;
  6. e) Undertake all cost analyses to detect risks and propose the actions required to maintain budgetary
  7. objectives;
  8. f) Support Sales team to deliver profitable sales and meet KPIs by controlling pricing and discount
  9. policies;
  10. g) Support Marketing team to be aligned with the budget
  11. h) Implement good Internal Control practices;
  12. i) Get involved in cross-functional programs to simplify and harmonize processes
  13. j) Build a strong partnership with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  14. k) Performs other related work as required

Person Specification

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Math desirable
  • 1-2 years experience in Finance & Control ideally within an Retail or FMCG company
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Excel and SAP
  • Ability to work with different teams and functions building relationships to foster cooperation
  • Action-oriented with outstanding business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Accurate and with a strong attention to details
  • Strong team player
  • Experience of working in the luxury industry would be a benefit.
  • Experience working internationally especially with US /UK and EU markets
  • Fluent in French/Italian desirable but not essential

Office is based in Golden Square – Soho / hybrid 4 days in the office / 1 day remote
