Our client is a multi-award-winning technical and technology public relations consultancy, with offices in the UK, Germany and Romania, is looking for an Office Manager to join the team. The role would suit someone keen to join a business with established procedures and processes, which they can both implement and continually improve. They see themselves as fun, slightly odd and pretty geeky, but generally a pretty friendly, group of people.

Job Description

  • The Office Manager would be managing the UK office, ensuring its good upkeep in every way – ensuring that the working environment and visual appearance match our multi-award-winning team wellbeing policies
  • The Office Manager will be taking responsibility for the office and its equipment. For instance, you will be responsible for ordering, unpacking, installing and organising repairs for staff computers
  • Managing provision of equipment and services for members of the team who are working remotely
  • Remotely managing the provision of equipment, decor and other needs for our Romanian and German offices (German office to be opened in Spring 2022)
  • Managing the ISO 9001 and PRCA CMS (Consultancy Management Standard) processes to ensure they are completed on time and regularly with clear evidence of continuous improvement as a result
  • Creating and implementing operational plans for ongoing working projects, previous examples include the introduction of a new Customer Relationship Management package, the launch of a new service or the expansion of an office
  • Ordering office equipment
  • Managing appraisal schedules
  • Recording sickness\/annual leave\/company benefits use, completing onboarding and offboarding procedures
  • Physical management of the office (shopping order, reporting anything that is broken to the handyman and organising him coming to fix it)
  • Helping to manage the MD’s schedule
  • Producing minutes from internal management meetings

Candidate Requirements

  • This role would suit someone with at least one year of office management experience or a similar operations role
  • A minimum of three A-Levels at grade C or above

Hours: Monday

  • Friday 9:00am
  • 5:30pm however, flexi hours are available starting between 7:00am
  • 9:00am and finish between 4:00pm
  • 6:00pm

Salary: \u00A325,000 – \u00A329,000 per annum DOE
