The Role

We’re looking for an eCommerce Senior Manager to join our growing eCommerce team at Omnicom Media Group. The role is truly unique, working with the eCommerce centralized team, which is responsible for developing the commercial and full stack eCommerce offering for a multitude of clients with global footprints.

Essentially the focus will be around providing eCommerce retail & media excellence to our client’s brands on partner, retailer websites, and enhance their search ability and drive through to conversion. The mission is to be relevant, discoverable and drive efficiencies right down to the point of purchase.

The role will be part of our UK team, based in London, and will report to the eCommerce Associate Director in the UK.

Specific Responsibilities Include

Deliver on eCommerce Scope of Work

  • Lead the eCommerce Media Campaigns with best in class eCommerce retail & media knowledge & strategy expertise. Understand client’s current state on eCommerce platforms (Amazon,, D2C) and provide business advice on selection, availability, traffic, and improving conversion rate by working closely on media & promotional planning.
  • Activate campaigns, with the support of peers across all retail media platforms including Amazon search, DSP, Criteo, Nectar 360.
  • Help clients plan and implement promotional plan and improve the customer journey on Amazon / other eCommerce platforms through enhanced content on detail pages and develop strategies on how this can be supported through eCommerce Media.
  • Develop roadmaps with clients to ensure continuous testing of new products and formats.
  • With your peers, ensure all deliverables within the eCommerce SOW in place with the client are completed across brands.
  • Run workshops on eCommerce across specific client locations. Build an understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and potential value that can be delivered and report on a set of business development targets.
  • Work closely with the client’s local agency teams to develop holistic strategies against ATL media and with wider eCommerce teams to manage stock / pricing / retail health and be able to flex campaigns accordingly.
  • Identify opportunities based on deep data analysis using Amazon tools (IDQ, ARAP, Vendor Central, AAP), Advertising data (AMS, AMG, Criteo, etc.), other external sources (Nielsen, GfK, etc.) and external partners. Provide recommendations to improve sales & margin, through effective retail & marketing planning.

Stakeholder Management skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to understand business goals of each stakeholder and navigate through to deliver best results
  • Ability to juggle priorities and communicate clearly to senior level stakeholders across the client organization


  • 3+ years’ experience in retail media strategy including Amazon, Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Ocado, and Morrison’s at either a digital agency or working for a brand. Strategy / Account management consulting experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Amazon portfolio strategy plans and budget management to achieve goals. Collaborate with Brand and Trade Marketing teams to continue to evolve the Amazon range and pack types, achieve new item / fix-the-mix distribution goals including distribution targets and efficient product launches
  • Experience in data analysis, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing consulting, and supply chain.
  • Experienced in activating campaigns on Amazon, AMS, AMG, Criteo, Nector360, Tesco Dunnhumby and other retail players.
  • Enjoy educating clients about how optimizing search can drive eCommerce efforts
  • Possess general knowledge of direct and brand marketing principles and strategies
  • Have polished presentation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Have an adaptive style in being able to communicate often technical ideas in simple terms

Have strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once
